n  Color Vision Deficiency

비색약인과는 달리색의 조합이나 차이를 구분하기 어려운 색약인들에게는 특정 색 정보를 인지하기가 쉽지 않다이러한 색각 이상 증상은 생활에 불편을 초래할 뿐만 아니라 중요한 정보의 오인을 야기한다.색약인의 색 인지 능력을 향상시키기 위하여 색약인이 인지하는 색상을 시뮬레이션 하는 여러 모델이 연구되었으며이를 이용하여 다양한 색보정 알고리즘이 연구되었다하지만 기존의 알고리즘들은 보정 후 영상의 자연스러움을 유지시키지 못한다따라서본 연구실에서는 색약인이 색 구분을 잘 할 수 있으면서도 자연스럽게 느끼도록 하는 효율적인 영상 보정 알고리즘들을 연구하고 있다.

여러 영상들 또는 디스플레이 장치들이 하나의 영상을 구성할  서로  색감들이 다른 경우사용자는 색인지력을 잃게 되며 이는 시각적인 피로감을 유발시킨다인간이 인지하는 색감은 색온도에 영향을 받기 때문에백색점을 이동하면 인지색의 조정이 가능하다이러한 기초 색이론들을 바탕으로 연구실에서는 인간의 시각 인지력을 향상시키는 색상 조정 기법들을 연구하고 있다.
